Image gallery - 3D relief contrast imaging

The gallery presents the results achieved using the LUMICRA sliders in the Classic and Tunable versions. Various prepared sample slides (without staining or stained) were used for the imaging. These slides are intended mainly for observations with phase contrast, or by DIC and polarizing microscopy. Images were taken with a DM750 microscope equipped with Leica IIC50 or FLEXACAM C1 cameras.

Images taken with LUMICRA sliders are characterized by strong plasticity and contrasting relief that can be seen when observing individual cells, organisms and tissues. This contrast method allows much easier and comfortable observations of the tissue, cells or organisms with hightlighted details on the surface.

In the comparison section, images taken with different imaging methods can be seen compared to each other. Continue here.

Various samples (random)

Various fixed tissue samples were used for imaging. The samples includ e.g. a tongue (hedgehog, domestic cat), testicles and kidneys (rat), livers (pig) and others. In addition, samples of lilies of the valley and variaous diatoms are present.

Diatoms

The gallery contains images of diatoms with different magnifications (10x - 40x). You can see the image in two different modes: oblique illumination and oblique illumination combined with a dark field, which can also be achieved with LUMICRA slider when 4X - 20X objective lenses are used.
